History of Concrete

Concrete has been used since the days of the Pharaohs in ancient Egypt. What product do you think has held the pyramids together for 4,000 years?! Today, concrete is the primary material used in driveways, patios, basements, sub-floors, and many other household and building areas. Annual production of concrete is almost 5 billion cubic yards.

Q:How long will it normally take Polar-Set to dry at 20°F?
A:It will take Polar-Set approximately 4 hours (at 50% humidity) to completely dry. This depends of course on wind, humidity, etc.

Q:When can I apply the PermaSeal Stain Sealer?
A:Surface temperature must be 40°F and rising for at least 2-4 hours at 50% humidity before your Stain Sealer can be applied.

Q:How can I tell if my Bonding Additive or Stain Sealer has frozen?
A:Often Bonding Additive or Stain Sealer will solidify in a way that resembles cottage cheese when it freezes.

Q:If the Bonding Additive or Stain Sealer has frozen and then thaws, can they still be used?
A:Once frozen, the poly-modifiers have been compromised and will no longer create a strong bond and eventually release.
