PermaCrete Surfaces Withstand Ballistic Penetration Tests!

March 29, 2000

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE  -  "Quality Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that a PermaCrete surface coating has recently withstood high-powered, ballistic penetration tests performed by local representatives of a statewide law enforcement agency", said George A. Henderson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company which manufactures the products.

One of PermaCrete's many type, product-surfaces, applied to 1/8" aluminum panels (for backing), were also similar in thickness to the exterior coatings applied on residential and commercial homes and buildings worldwide.  Test rounds of .38 caliber, 9 millimeter and .45 caliber bullets were fired from a maximum muzzle velocity distance of only 18 inches against the PermaCrete surfaces which did not allow penetration in a spectacular display of PermaCrete's exclusive strength.

In an era when national homebuilders and commercial building experts have expressed increasing concern over the safety and durability of exterior building surfaces against the continuing effects of El Nino's and La Nina's widespread climate extremes of tornadoes, hurricanes and hail, PermaCrete has continued to research and develop its proprietary surface applications in response to these concerns throughout the world to develop exterior building surfaces of incredible strength and toughness.

PermaCrete's acrylic polymer cement surface of over 6,000 PSI compressive strength, is applied over concrete, masonry, aggregate and steel, and provides an architectural surface of unusual strength and flexibility with twice the overall strength and endurance as that of standard concrete. Especially designed for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic areas, including interstate highway bridges and even airport runways, it's extremely resistant to penetration or stains from oil, mildew, salt and water as well as to industrial chemicals while also withstanding freeze-thaw cycles, intense heat and ultraviolet sunrays.  Its sealed and non-porous surface, available in virtually any color or design, provides easy maintenance by using normal household detergents to hose it clean.

For the past thirteen years, Quality Systems, Inc. has been distributing PermaCrete Resurfacing Products which are manufactured in the firm's well-equipped facilities in Nashville, Tennessee.
