There is a new twist on the ancient story about the Phoenix rising from the ashes. And in this case it's the story of the Showcase Winner for December. When the original White House Resort Hotel and Restaurant burned, the only part that survived was a small area of PermaCrete which went unscathed. The owner was so impressed that he insisted that the entire courtyard and adjoining area (over 5,500 square feet) be surfaced with PermaCrete when the facility was rebuilt and arose from its ashes.
