PolarCrete Saves The Day!

Canadian Dealer, Patrick Belanger, of SURFACES SUR MESURE ("Custom Surface" in English) saved the day on a deteriorating, glue-covered, 1,000 sq. ft. pool deck. The project was in the town of Hudson, Quebec. The concrete deck was over 50 years old, and had numerous coats of paint topped off with aging carpet.

Once Patrick and his team got the surfaced prepped, they cleaned it with Blue Nitro, and then repaired the many cracks with Perma Bond Crack Repair. Patrick then installed a Matrix skim coat and let that dry. Next, he hand-taped the slate pattern and sprayed the Matrix texture coat. Nearing completion, he then highlighted different shades of grey Colorant into each of the tiles in the pattern. When the application was dry, he applied Clear Sealer, stood back, and admired his work.
